Project Description:
Newshutch is a newsfeed aggregator built in Ruby on Rails. This is an ongoing project designed by Nathan Bowers of Snapgrid and programmed by Doug McInnes.

Newshutch was cited by industry leaders 37signals as an example of a “Beautiful interface”.

GTD Tiddly Wiki

Project Description:
This was our personal productivity modification of a stand alone open source wiki called TiddlyWiki.

This small personal project took on a life of its own and spawned a community of developers. It was recommended by 43Folders, Lifehacker, and Make Magazine.

Client: The Council of State Governments Justice Center

Project Description:
This was a new site designed from the ground up. The site had to be attractive and readable to accomodate many blocks of text and data graphs.

Isabont.com refresh

Client: Isabont Group

Project Description:
Isabont.com was an existing site with tools to help job seekers. Snapgrid helped Isabont with a design refresh, adding color and contrast to give the site more “pop” and navigational clarity.

Annietown.com

Client: Annie Choi

Project Description:
Snapgrid did the blog and promotional site for Annie Choi's first book, Happy Birthday or Whatever.

Justice Center

Client: The Council of State Governments Justice Center

Project Description:
A new site to showcase The Justice Center, a non-profit organization that provides policy advice to legislators, judges, and other agencies involved in criminal justice.

Angryalien.com redesign

Client: Angry Alien

Project Description:
Redesigned templates to enhance usability and clarity for Angryalien.com, the company that creates the popular 30-Second Bunnies Theatre cartoons.

Transamerica.com redesign

Client: Transamerica Insurance & Investment Group

Project Description:
This was a redesign to make the homepage and content pages more readable and user friendly. The navigation was flattened on the homepage to cut down the amount of clicks it takes users to find what they need.

Transamerica Hong Kong

Client: Transamerica Insurance & Investment Group

Project Description:
The client needed a new website to serve their Hong Kong market. The template had to accommodate future modification to serve various countries and languages of the Pacific Rim.

TransACT redesign

Project Description:
Transamerica offers extensive web-based business applications to their affiliated agents, but the applications and information were spread across three audience specific sites. I developed structure and style templates to unify the sites into an agent portal.
